Bio

The Full Picture

My father loved sharing his love for things with me. Films were one of those things. I remember going to the opening night for the Phantom Menace when I was 7. People were dressed as their favorite character, and everyone was so joyful. The way people emersed themselves in the movie proved to me magic exists. Throughout my life, I’ve been exposed to a variety of movies and performances, which inspired me to pursue a career in the film industry. My work ethic and love for the visual arts motivated me as a student and pushes me to constantly develop my storytelling voice.

What I’ve Done

2012

"The Power of Corruption"

This Short film really played off of power rangers. The Student Government at Navarro were going to their yearly state competition with other Jr Colleges around the state called TJCSGA Convention. We had to create/film/edit a video with a topic given to us by the state. We ended up getting 2nd out of Every Jr College in the state.

"Freaks & Geeks Scene Recreation"

A Scene Recreation from the TV Show Freaks & Geeks from 1999. With this recreation i had to do Location Scouting, Casting Calls, Directing, and Editing. Working with a bigger crew than I had in the past was a fun exercise. We had to set up a pallet behind the car so we could get a boom mic Operator in position to get clear audio while the actors sat on the car.

"Best Friend"

My Thesis Film From College. Two friends go off to war, one comes back. How will he be able to move on from the loss of his Best Friend. In this Short i had to work with a crew and create a story of my making. Filming took 3-4 days. Me and a few members of the crew created "explosions" out of compacted gun powder and cardstock, We buried them about a foot below the ground with packing soil on top so it can resemble and explosion.
